LAURIE LATHAM
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Laurie joined the Trust in August 2015. She has 35+ years of professional experience with careers in financial management; healthcare; community development; and foundation fundraising, operations and governance. She earned a B.S. degree and a M.B.A. from Murray State University. She is involved in various philanthropic, community, and civic organizations.
GINA LEEPER
GRANTS AND PROGRAM MANAGER
Gina joined the Trust in May 2018. She has over 30 years of public service working with numerous non-profits. She has extensive professional experience in donor relations, fundraising, and business management. She earned a B.S. degree from Mid-Continent University. Gina is involved in various philanthropic organizations and clubs within the community.
CANDACE NICHOLS
GRANTS OFFICER
Candace joined the Trust in July 2026. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in the nonprofit sector, including nonprofit management and extensive experience in grant writing and grants management. She earned a B.S. degree from Murray State University. Candace is actively involved in various coalitions and community organizations.
SUSAN GIBSON
ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
Susan joined the Trust in July 2025. She brings more than 30 years of experience in office management and executive support, including service in local city government and, most recently, 12 years with a local nonprofit organization. She earned a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Susan is an active community volunteer and serves as a United Way Reading PAL.
